Please always avoid pre-packed juices or even home squeezed fruit juice.

The star of the green smoothie recipe has to be the avocado. It is just such a nutritional powerhouse and if you don’t like it it’s okay too because you can’t taste it. Some other ingredients you can play with would include:

Green Super Smoothie - DRINK EVERYDAY
- 1 avocado
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 handful spinach
- 1/2 apple
- 1/2 stalk celery
- 1 pinch turmeric
- 2 inch ginger (peeled and roughly chopped)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup water (more may be required for desired consistency)
- Peel the avocado and roughly chop any larger ingredients
- Place all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth
- Add some extra water if required to reach desired consistency
- Enjoy! And, feel free to add some extra lemon juice or lime if you like some extra sour flavor
