Nuclear Spicy Noodles – Korean Spicy Noodles

There really is no need to buy instant noodles when this Nuclear Spicy Noodles Recipe is just as quick and definitely much tastier.  You cant lose!

Now when it comes to heat, that’s an individual choice.  If you want them truly nuclear spicy, try a few slices of Scotch Bonnet on top, I love a whole habanero on there as I love the fragrant flavor.  Let’s be honest if you’re looking for a recipe this spicy you probably know your favorite chili by now 🙂

Nuclear Spicy Noodles – Korean Spicy Noodles


1 tbsp oil

3 scallions/ spring onions

1 tsp crushed garlic

1 tsp crushed ginger

1 tbsp tomato paste

1 tsp cayenne pepper

2 tbsp sriracha sauce

2 cups chicken stock

1 cup cooked ramen noodles

1 pinch salt

1 red chili (chose according to heat tolerance)


  • Place the oil in a medium-sized saucepan over a medium heat
  • Finely slice the scallion and add to the pot with the garlic and ginger and stir for 2 minutes until fragrant
  • Add the tomato paste, cayenne pepper and sriracha sauce to the pot, stir and immediately add the stock
  • Bring to a boil then stir in the noodles and season with salt
  • Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle a finely sliced chili on top
